Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESC)
Do you want to design erosion and sediment control plans for constructions sites and projects with major earthworks? The CPESC has allowed many ESC professionals as well as engineers, biologists, agrologists and other Qualified Environmental Professionals deepen their understanding of the complexities of effective site management of erosion and sediment control.
The Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESC) is administered by Envirocert. The course, exam, and professional designation are intended for professionals who want to produce site-specific plans and designs that comprehensively address current and potential erosion and sedimentation issues with practices and measures that are cost effective, understandable and that meet environmental and regulatory requirements. There are two designations that professionals can apply for CPESC (see below) or CPESC-IT (professionals who don't meet the minimum years of experience listed below). CPESC Requirements:
